    AWS Marketplace Subscription Guide

Purchase a Simply Send offer through AWS Marketplace, link it to your Simply Send billing workspace, and start sending with the REST API or SMTP.

    1

    Subscribe on AWS Marketplace

Choose from the offers and plan dimensions currently listed for Simply Send. The exact plan options and terms appear on the AWS Marketplace listing.

    a

    Open the Simply Send listing

Go to Simply Send on AWS Marketplace and choose View purchase options.
    b

    Review and subscribe

Select the available plan dimension and contract duration, review the price and renewal details shown by AWS, then complete the subscription.
    2

Set Up Your Simply Send Account & Link the Subscription

Complete the AWS Marketplace purchase setup in Simply Send so the plan and credits are linked to the right billing workspace.

    a

    Open Set up your account

From the AWS Marketplace subscription page, choose Set up your account. AWS will redirect you to the Simply Send setup page.
    b

Create or sign in, then link

If you are new to Simply Send, create an account. Otherwise, sign in to your existing account and make the workspace you want to bill active. Review the plan and AWS account details, then click Link subscription. After setup completes, the subscription is active and Simply Send takes you to the billing page; continue to Step 3.

A billing workspace can have one active subscription provider at a time. If it is already billed through another provider, cancel that subscription before linking AWS Marketplace.

    3

Create a Sending Domain & Set Up Credentials

Add and verify a sending domain first. Then choose REST API or SMTP based on your workflow and plan.

    a

Add and verify your domain first

In Simply Send, open Domains, add the domain you will send from, publish the DNS records provided, and complete verification.
    b

    Choose your sending method

For the REST API, open API Keys and create a Transactional key for transactional email or a Marketing key for campaigns. SMTP credentials are for transactional sending, require a Paid plan, and can be created from SMTP Credentials.
    c

Store credentials in AWS Secrets Manager

Store the API key and Account ID, or the SMTP username and password, in AWS Secrets Manager. Grant your application access to retrieve the secret at runtime; do not hard-code or commit credentials to source control.
    4

    Send Your First Email

Send from any AWS-hosted service using the REST API or SMTP relay. This REST API example includes the required unsubscribe and company-address markers; use the SMTP guide for SMTP configuration.

Configure and approve the required templates in the Compliance Templates guide before sending.

    5

Confirm Your Plan, Credits & Billing

In Simply Send, open Account → Billing to confirm the linked plan and subscription status. Check the Email Credits tab to see the shared balance and usage.

    →

    Understand email credit usage

Transactional email uses 3 credits per email, and marketing email uses 4 credits per email. Both use the workspace's shared email-credit balance.
    →

    Manage billing through AWS

AWS Marketplace manages the subscription agreement, billing, renewal, and cancellation. Simply Send displays the connected plan and email-credit balance in your workspace.
    6

    If Setup Does Not Complete

    →

    The subscription is still processing

Wait briefly for AWS to finish processing the subscription, then reopen Set up your account from AWS Marketplace.
    →

The setup link is missing or expired

Return to your AWS Marketplace subscriptions and start setup again from the Simply Send subscription.
    →

A different subscription is already linked

The workspace cannot link AWS while another provider subscription is active. Review the current plan under Account → Billing, cancel the other subscription with its billing provider, and retry the AWS setup.
    →

    Still stuck?

Contact Simply Send support and include the AWS account used for the purchase and the workspace you are trying to link. Do not send API keys or activation tokens.
